This lovely old-fashioned home in Lanikai just captures the feel of Hawaiiana to me. I love the coziness of this patio front steps, but it was a little bare until I inserted my favorite model lounging back reading. Of course it is my daughter, Kasha!

What a beautiful child this little one is! With her look of innocence and purity, her face half in dramatic shadows, this image catches a lovely moment in time.

This good-looking brother and sister posed for a professional photograph, wearing matching outfits and haku leis. I took that photo and turned it into the warmth and personal touch of a soft pastel, making a keepsake to last a lifetime.

Mount Olomana rises up majestically behind this home in Maunawili. Their large front yard so spacious yet cozy with their old-fashioned white wooden fence, covered in bougainvillea. What a wonderful way to live in Paradise!

The day Danny O. took his beautiful bride was a day for us all to remember. How many weddings have fireworks? And how nice his strong handsome face looks in a tuxedo - truly a moment to capture in pastel!

You can tell these 4 yung people had a lot of fun dressing up and posing for this wonderful portrait. And only in Hawaii such an exotic tropical look

Who wouldn't want to live in this lovely home in Hawaii, right on the water and surrounded by palms? This truly must be the Perfect Paradise.

Tucked away in the middle of the woods, this wonderful mainland cabin is the perfect retreat at any time of year. I used photos when the trees were bare, plus the flowers in spring, to get just the right look to capture this wonderful cozy home.

The fun of childhood is shown here where one youngster tries to shoot a basket while his sister looks on. The cat is stretching, the baby eating, and altogether this lovely home in Hawaii Kai looks like a lively place to be.

All the staff of the largest real estate company on Oahu got together and commissioned this Christmas gift for the beloved owner of their company. And what could be better than a pastel of their beautiful office building?
|
I used to live by the Kawainui Marsh in Kailua, and I swear that's where God lives. People walk, jog and bike along the path, and I go there with my camera. This pastel tries to do justice to the serenity I find there.

Spunky little guy, this young boy looks like he has a lot of fun in life!
|
This adorable child exhibits all the joy and enthusiasm we know of as Childhood, and what Fun it can be!

One of the first portraits I was playing with was one of my friend Cindy. Mostly I just love her pretty smile, and she has a wonderful laugh to go with it. And she must have a ton of friends, cuz everyone who saw this picture said "Oh, is that Cindy??"
|
Samson & Delilah (yes, that's their real names) are brother and sister show dogs owned by my friend Patty. It was a fun challenge getting the texture of the curly hair just right on these two beauties.
|
We took a roll of film to get this cute photo of Sally and everyone's favorite dog, Hoku. People fight over baby-sitting this puppy when Sally leaves town, thus assuring this little guy will always get plenty of love!

Perched at the water's edge, an outrigger canoe is starting out on it's journey. The famouos Mokulua Islands in the background.

The new developments at Ko'olina make for just wonderful residences. You get privacy and community at the same time. I loved showing the charming entryway into one of the stylish new condos.
|
I love the Kawainui Marsh in Kailua, with the lovely stream meandering through.

In Hawaii, the sea turtle is considered good luck. This image of the majestic creature swimming silently toward the viewer, full of wisdom, symbolizes that Spirit protecting us all.
|
This house was such a challenge, with all the levels and angels. And the part I remember most, it was commissioned by a realtor, and when I first showed thie picture, I had accidently drawn the house next door!
|
Sitting with my back against the famous Lanikai monument, I see a gorgeous panorama spread out below, and people in the cars driving along the road strain their necks to see more of it too. So this is the breathtaking view I wanted to capture.
|
This beautiful home commissioned by the Realtor is an exquisite look of Hawaiiana, close to the beach in Kailua. I was particularly interested when I realized the new home buyer was none other than my nephew the doctor!
